Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage Scholarship

The Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage (NSAA) will award one or more scholarships for the upcoming school year. The award is for one academic year, and may be used for any educationally related expenses at any college or university chosen by the scholarship winner. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the college or university. The purpose of the program is to encourage scholastic performance, cross-country skiing, and participation in community ski activities.

Applicants must be Alaskan high school seniors or college students accepted to or enrolled in any accredited college or university, members of a high school cross-country ski team in your junior and senior year, members of the NSAA (individual or family membership) in the past two years, and have a 2.7 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants will be asked to complete essays on the benefits of skiing.
