The applicant must be a senior in high school or currently be enrolled at a trade school, college, or university and in good standing. They must have epilepsy, be under a physician’s care, and currently undergoing treatment and/or taking anticonvulsant medications. Apart from completing the application, applicants must also submit: a transcript; a physician's statement (must have epilepsy, be under a physician's care, and currently undergoing treatment and/or taking anticonvulsant medications); a letter of reference (suggestions for references letters might be from a teacher, clergy, volunteer experience); and a verification of acceptance to a college/university (such as an acceptance letter). This program is made possible by the Epilepsy Foundation Central & South Texas.
