Scholarship Description

The Oregon Barber and Hairdressers (B&H) Grant Program provides one-time grants to low-income students who are attending a licensed school of barbering, hair design, cosmetology, or manicure in Oregon that participates in Federal Title IV student aid programs and in the B&H Grant Program. However, your information must be received by the school you plan to attend no later than February 1 of the award year.

To be eligible for the Oregon Barber and Hairdressers Grant, applicants must: be a resident of Oregon; attend a licensed school of barbering, hair design, cosmetology, or manicure in Oregon that participates in Federal Title IV financial aid programs and participates in the B&H Grant Program; enroll full-time in a program which is at least nine months long or 900 clock hours; and demonstrate financial need. Dollar amounts will vary.
