I currently attend Johnson & Wales for Sport/Entertainment/Event Management. I LOVE this school! The staff is knowledgable and are all industry professionals. The professors and staff are always encouraging us and providing us with opportunities in our industries. The professors go above and beyond to get to know their students. I have received several jobs and internships through my professors' connections. The school does a great job preparing its students for the business world. My friends that attend other colleges say that they wish they got the same guidance and training that I did when it came to business interviews, resumes, and financial responsibility.Another thing that I love about this school is that it is extremely diverse. You can meet all kinds of people there, and be accepted for who you are. The students are all very friendly and welcoming. This school goes by a trimester system which is AWESOME! The courses are just long enough to cover the material thoroughly (11weeks) without overkill. As a student, I receive two weeks off at Thanksgiving, two weeks off for winter break, and two weeks off at the end of February because of trimesters (...6 weeks of vacation where semester schools only get 4 for winter and one for spring = only 5 weeks). This University is a culinary school, so all of the food in the dining halls is DELICIOUS. I love this school, and would recommend it to everyone!
**PLUS THERE'S NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAYS!**
(They leave Friday's open for culinary labs, and for the rest of the students to "go out into the business world for experience" ...or just have Fridays off!)

I went and visited this school and got to experience cooking in the kitchens. This school is amazing! It's hands on learning and has a low ratio of students to teachers. I've been accepted to this school and I can't wait to attend.
