  • Scholarship Description
  • The Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship provides an opportunity for students to advance their education in anti-fraud career paths. Applicants must be enrolled 9 semester hours (or equivalent) per term if undergraduate or 6 semester hours (or equivalent) per term if graduate level. Applicants must be currently enrolled at an accredited, four-year college or university with enrollment throughout the academic year and have a declared major or minor in accounting, business administration, finance or criminal justice and demonstrate a desire to pursue a career in fraud examination or similar anti-fraud profession. Hello my name is Alexander Colon, and I am currently in rolled in liberty University. I am an active duty service member currently working at a base in Maryland. I happen to room 417 years and want to continue especially pursuing my educational goals before I retire. My current field of study is criminal justice and Homeland security. My goal is to work with the department of homeland security, or the Federal Bureau of investigation. Right now I am Hispanic American who is strives to be a better person and a better father for my children. The requirements state that you have to be enrolled in a 4-year college. I am attending Centralia College in Centralia, WA. It is not truly a 4-year college, though they do offer a few 4-year degrees - one being Accounting. Would I still be eligible.
