The Florida Engineering Society scholarships are generously funded by the Florida Engineering Foundation, Inc. (FEF). Established in 1986, FEF is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit entity whose mission is to encourage and assist students in pursuing engineering careers and to educate the public about engineering. Furthermore, the Florida Engineering Foundation, Inc. promotes and enhances engineering education in Florida in order to position our state as a technological leader in the global economy.
Applicants for the High School scholarship must be high school seniors who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents graduating from a Florida high school, have a minimum 3.5 GPA, who will be enrolling in an engineering program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). Scholarship applications are usually posted on the Florida Engineering Society's website by December 1. Applications must be submitted on a USB drive.
