I really want to make my parents proud by being the first generation to graduate college. I have to work extra hard to be able to work full time and attend school full time. My parents had to cut short their education go take care of me and my family.I’ve managed to earn my bachelor’s degree while also supporting my family financially. I could say it’s been hard having to pay for school. I would appreciate the help.

The reason why I am applying for this scholarship is because my parents do not have enough money to pay for college, and I really want to continue studying and be able to fulfill my dream of being a great teacher and be able to raise my parents and that they can feel proud of me.

One of my goals is to finish college and give back to my parents all they have done for me. I am part of a big family and I see the big sacrifices my parents do for us. We do not have a big income and I hate seeing my parents worry about money. These type of scholarships encourage students to never give up because there is always a way.

I am currently a undergraduate at Texas A & M International University. I attended Laredo Community College and I was able to pay off my first two years at the community college. This upcoming spring I am attending Texas A & M International University with two more years to achieve my bachelors in Business Administration . Unfortunately, the tuition is an increasing amount compared to the one at my two year college. The pandemic has slowed down work for me since I have to stay at home to watch over my younger siblings who they too have to achieve their academics in grade school. Applying and achieving this scholarship would help me. This scholarship means the world to me and I would be very grateful to be a receipt of this award.

I am applying for this scholarship because college is expensive and my parents worry all the time about how I am going to pay so that I don't have loans to pay back. Winning this scholarship would help me pay so that I can achieve my dream of becoming a nurse and make my dad's side of the family proud since I will be the first one to go to college. I will also be the first generation to go and finish college.

Attending College has always been a huge goal that I've been determined to accomplish, unfortunately I don't have all the money in the world to cover the financial needs that comes with college. I would be extremely grateful to receive any amount of money.

Unfortunately, college in America is very expensive and I know my parents are worried on how they wil be able to pay for both my brother and I's tuitions. This is a great oppurtunity and any amount of money is a huge help.

I am barely applying for this scholarship, my parents don't have the kind of money to help pay for college. They work in the fields and i'd really like to win to be able to make them proud

Khai H  on 7/10/2020 1:48:45 AM

College in America is so expensive and I feel I may not be able to go to my school of my dreams and get my degree simply because I cant afford it. Id like to hope and pray I win one of the contest, but If I dont then I cant be mad at anyone.

Many claim that money is an obstacle into getting into college, so they fear overcoming their goals. Even if I don't win, I would like to encourage all of you to keep your head up high through thick and thin.
