Scholarship Description

Supported by the Department of Defense (DoD) and administered by the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA), our annual symposium, competition, and year-round digital programming empower young minds in STEM. Through mentorship, scholarships, and career pathways, we provide opportunities for students to grow, connect, and achieve success in science, technology, engineering, and math. The Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) awards a total of 168 scholarships and cash awards annually, recognizing outstanding achievements in STEM.
