The Marguerite Young Endowment Fund was established to provide assistance for students pursuing theology. Applicants must attend a Protestant seminary as a master of Divinity candidate, preparing for full-time ministry and/or be a seminary intern working at a Protestant Church as a requirement for the degree program. Applicants must have completed the credit equivalent of at least one full year of enrollment in the degree program and have a minimum 2.0 GPA.
Marguerite Young was a sincere Christian woman who was a faithful member of her church and an unwavering supporter of theological education for the training of faithful Christian ministers. The Pittsburgh Foundation provides scholarship opportunities for students to pursue their educational goals. Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors, undergraduates, graduate, medical and professional school students who are attending community colleges, four-year universities, graduate schools, and career/technical schools.
