  • The SMA Native American STEM Scholarship awards Native American students pursuing a four-year degree in in STEM--Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Applicant must be an enrolled member of a Pueblo or Tribe, a high school graduate by June who has been accepted by an accredited U.S. college or university or a college STEM student already enrolled at an accredited college or university and must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Hello I am Brandon Vasquez I am currently a freshman computer engineering student at California State University of San Bernardino. I have a GPA of 3.0 and am Native American as well, I have been trying to figure out which tribe I belong to in order to receive funds from the government but I have yet to find a tribe. I only have one source of income as a dependent student my mom is the only one who works which is not enough, so I am trying to graduate from college to help my family. This would help tremendously because it will help with buying school supplies as well to pay for tuition.
