TxDOT Conditional Grant Program

• Scholarship Description
• The Texas Department of Transportation's Conditional Grant Program is available to eligible students pursuing a degree in civil engineering or a department-approved operational business discipline. The Conditional Grant Program will consider both Texas public and private four-year institutions. Students accepted into the program receive up to $3,000 per semester or $6,000 per academic year for tuition, based on financial need. Applicants must be Texas residents eligible to work in the U.S., be economically disadvantaged, declare an intent to seek a four-year degree in civil engineering or a department-approved operational business discipline, and agree to work for TxDOT for two years immediately after graduation.. Additionally, applicants must meet one of these educational achievements: A minimum high school GPA of 3.0; a minimum SAT score of 900; or, a minimum ACT score of 21.
