  • Scholarship Description
  • This memorial scholarship is in honor of Jim Boyce, and all of our former APA members and supporters, who made a lasting impact in the field of accessibility compliance. Students who wish to apply must be currently pursuing a degree in architecture, landscape architecture, civil engineering, construction management, interior design or another degree program closely related to accessibility/universal design at an accredited United States institution of higher learning. Students must have a 2.5 or higher GPA and demonstrate a strong interest in accessibility in both design portfolio and future career interests. "U of Farmington" Fraudsters Prosecuted, Deported

E-tail giant Amazon is now accepting applications to its Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship Program for students entering college in the fall of 2020. NC Senator Proposes Taxing of Athletic Scholarships

In response to the NCAA's vote to allow athletes to profit from their names, images and likeness, Senator Richard Burr of North Carolina has proposed taxing those scholarships. Senator Burr tweeted: "If college athletes are going to make money off their likenesses while in school, their scholarships should be treated like income. I'll be introducing legislation that subjects scholarships given to athletes who choose to 'cash in' to income taxes." [...]
