To be eligible for the Henrietta M. Fisher Memorial Honor Scholarship Fund, applicants must: be a first-year, Penn State- University Park baccalaureate student; file a FAFSA; be a Dauphin County resident (Steelton-Highspire High School graduates preferred); and be pursuing any college major (Engineering, Earth & Mineral Science, Science, Communications, and Liberal Arts majors preferred).
To be considered, please submit a letter that includes all of the following: the applicant's name, Penn State ID Number and a personal essay of no more than two typewritten pages that illustrates leadership skills, patriotism, career aspirations, and academic merit. Award amounts vary between $2,000 and $4,000 and are awarded for one year unless enrolled in a Penn State ROTC program.
