  • Scholarship Description
  • This $10,000 scholarship is open to students interested in the five core areas of the Live Nation business: concert promotion and venue operation, sponsorship and advertising, ticketing, e-commerce and artist management. All you need are two letters of recommendation and a brief essay to apply! Live Nation currently offers three scholarship opportunities; Tiffany Green, Steven J. Finkel and Live Nation -- US Concerts. With the added support of the Living Legacy Foundation, Music Forward is able to provide an additional $10,000 scholarship to support a student who has experienced homelessness and/or been part of the foster care system and is interested in pursuing a career in live entertainment. Applicants may apply for only one of the three scholarships offered through this opportunity. If multiple applications are received, only the first received application will be reviewed for consideration of a scholarship award. Student Loan Debt Forgiveness for U.S. Military Veterans

The U.S. Department of Education plans to forgive $1.3 billion in outstanding student loan debt for roughly 25,000 disabled U.S. military veterans, beginning in July. Until now, the Department of Education had required veterans to formally apply for student loan forgiveness - having them complete "unnecessary paperwork to secure relief from their student loans, even after the Department of Veterans Affairs had found that a veteran met the legal requirements for disability-related loan forgiveness." In 2018, over 30,000 totally and permanently disabled veterans eligible for student loan forgiveness had not completed the necessary paperwork; a majority of which had defaulted on their student loans.
