Hello, my name is Mustafa Abdulrazzaq. I am an Iraqi American, and I have wanted to be a doctor since the age of 5. I am a Junior in high school that is very worried about college financially. I am applying for this scholarship because my dad is the only person that works at home, and he is already paying for my brothers college. I feel like when he starts to pay for mine everything is going to go downhill money wise. My dream as a kid was to be some type of doctor because since the age of 5 I’ve always wanted to help people no matter what it was. I’ve seen a lot of unhealthy people at the gym I work out and it really does make me sad and I wish I can make a change for them. I Participate in clubs at my school and I take care of my brothers when my parents are not home by making my older and younger brother food, and help my little brother by keeping him entertained. No matter if I do get this scholarship or not I am still going to keep on trying my best to get ready financially for college to pursue the amazing job as being a doctor.

Hello, my name is Jimmy Brown. I am an African American Honor student since 2nd grade. I’m a senior in high school. I am applying for this scholarship so that my situation of financial hardship to go to college does not prevent me from my heart’s desire to help people as my future career. I’ve played football for 9 years straight and during my life time I’ve seen a lot of unhealthy people and multiple injuries. I want to help people especially upcoming generations and elderly get healthy and live and improve their bodies. I’ve been injured a few times but by Gods grace I recovered. Experience is the best teacher and my goal is to help and educate others so they won’t go through what I went through.

yes, because I believed that no matter if I get the scholarship or not I can improve in many ways. If I do get this scholarship it would help me pay for my tuition at Texas State University majoring in Biochemistry. As people tell me that I won't survive the classes I beg to differ because sometimes people underestimate a lot. Going away from home is gonna be tough both financially and mentally. However, I'm ready to take on the real world.
