In order to provide educational opportunities for future generations of science scholars, we’re offering $35,000 in scholarship funding to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an accredited college for the upcoming semester. Scholarship Details
- One $10,000 award and five $5,000 awards
- Funds must be used for the coming academic year
- Scholarships are intended for tuition, fees, and related educational expenses
- Winners will be selected based on academic performance and commitment to life sciences
Eligibility Criteria
- U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or international student with a valid F-1 visa
- Must be 18 years of age or older as of August 13th following the scholarship deadline
- Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree
- Must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university for Fall
- Must have a declared major in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related life science field
- Undergraduate sophomores, juniors, seniors, and Associate degree students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Undergraduate freshmen must have a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Graduate students must have a graduate GPA of 3.0 or higher and an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
Application Process
- Visit the Thermo Fisher Scientific scholarship application portal
- Complete the online application form
- Submit proof of enrollment and GPA (transcripts or academic records)
- Provide a personal statement outlining academic achievements and career goals in the life sciences
- Submit the application between January 6th and April 30th
