To this end, standards for personal accountability, responsiveness, attention to detail, and communication skills are consistent with those expected of first year associates at top professional services firms. The Program lasts throughout the academic year and includes 10-12 zoom sessions (typically on Sunday nights that do not conflict with preparation for midterms/finals, most with distinguished guest speakers), assistance with refinement of resumes, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles, one-on-one counseling on job/internship search strategy, mock interviews and post-interview follow-through techniques, and a host of other professional and personal development skills that are extremely important for students to master before entering the work force.

Students majoring in business, the sciences, engineering, architecture, math, and/or computer science tend to do very well in the program and are strongly encouraged to apply. This said, KMF will consider all applicants. Note - The $7,500 can be used for any purpose associated with college and/or graduate school (e.g., tuition, housing, food, travel home, cell phone, computer hardware/software, tutoring, clothing.) This said, the scholarship is paid out 50% at the beginning and end of each semester and must be earned through active participation and commitment to the Program. Students should keep this in mind when financially planning for the school year.

Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student (junior, senior, and/or graduate) for the academic year that the scholarship is awarded at any U.S. college, university or vocational school. Scholarship selection criteria include, yet is not limited to demonstrated high levels of resiliency and maturity, academic record, achievements in sports and/other extra-curricular activities, and/or other unique skills or accomplishments, entrepreneurial tendencies, aspirations and/or experiences and personal/family circumstances.
