  • Scholarship Description
  • The Donald White/Mandla A. Ndwanya Memorial Fund aims to provide exceptional and targeted educational support and exchange opportunities for students in the United States and South Africa, in order to keep deserving students in school and promote cross-cultural learning and understanding. The Fund provides scholarships/bursaries for tertiary study in the United States and South Africa, as well as funding for juniors and seniors at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) to intern in Cape Town, South Africa. Applicants must prove acceptance into or currently attending an accredited U.S. college or university and financial need, and must also maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA. Preference is given to first-generation students attending an accredited higher learning institution. Must be majoring in the following areas - education, science (biology, chemistry, pre-med, etc.), engineering, mathematics, healthcare, medicine, or social work.
