  • As a woman-owned business and self-proclaimed “die-hard women in tech advocates,” we started the IJA Strategies Women in Technology scholarship program to celebrate those who are pursuing education and careers in technology. This year, two (2) scholarship recipients will be awarded $1,000 each for education-related expenses such as tuition, fees, books, supplies, and room and board.To apply, students must write a 300-500 word essay on the following topic:

    Essay Topic: Take one piece of popular technology and describe how you could improve it to better contribute to society/the world in a more meaningful way.

    The essay AND an acceptance letter or transcript from the student's accredited US undergraduate school must be submitted along with the scholarship application using our online form. Any submissions sent through mail, email, or another source will not be considered.

    To be eligible to win, applicants must be a current or incoming undergraduate college student majoring in or planning to major in a technical field who is enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university during the academic year(s) the scholarship is being awarded and must identify as a woman. Must not have been an IJA scholarship recipient in the past.
