  • Scholarship Description
  • The Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) and many of its 100 county Farm Bureaus offer a variety of scholarships at the state and local level to future college students. Eligibility for Farm Bureau scholarships is reserved for current IFBF members (and their children) who are in good standing with the organization. To be considered, a graduating high school senior must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be involved in extra-curricular activities, and be accepted into an accredited higher education institution (including community colleges and technical schools). The coronavirus made laptops a necessity for college students. Where before students without personal computers or laptops could use on-campus computers and provided software to meet the technological needs of their courses, the shift last spring to online classes necessitated that students have a stable internet connection and a compatible device.
