  • The AVMA is the oldest and largest non-profit veterinary medical organization in the world. More than 75,000 member veterinarians are dedicated to advancing the science and art of veterinary medicine, including its relationship to public health and agriculture. Scholarships are available only to AVMA members who are pursuing a four-year degree in animal nutrition; animal, dairy, equine or poultry science; animal breeding and genetics; biological sciences or pre-vet/vet sciences, with preference to applicants planning a career in veterinary medicine or veterinary food supply/public health.
