Through these scholarships, we aim to assist recipients in affording their education, connecting with members and developing a strong support system. AWC provides three types of scholarships for outstanding females: Apprentice, Acadeic Trades Diploma, and Academic Bachelor's Degree. The number of awards and the dollar amounts are not specified until AWC determines how many qualified candidates to choose, so exact amounts will vary.
Applicants must be a female student; a current resident of MN or attending post-high school education in Minnesota, studying construction, including but not limited to: Construction Management, Project Management, Electrical, Mechanical, Building Systems, Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Trade programs. All applicants will be notified late-Spring of the decision. Not all applicants will be selected as recipients. The award does not automatically renew; however, you may reapply to the program as long as you continue to meet the eligibility criteria.
