• Education is vital to the growth and future of every community. Because of this, the Saginaw Community Founda­tion administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational stu­dents. Since awarding our first $500 scholarship in 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has awarded more than $8 million in scholarships.   The Carrollton Public School’s Board of Education established the Carrollton Education Foundation Fund at the Saginaw Community Foundation in 1997 to help improve the quality of public education in the Carrollton community. To be eligible for the Carrollton Education Foundation -Carrollton Community Scholarship, applicants must be a Carrollton High School senior, and be pursing a vocational, associate, or undergraduate degree.
