Each year, Community 1st Credit Union & Generations, a Division of Community 1st Credit Union are proud to offer four scholarships of $2,500 each to eligible graduating seniors. Through these scholarships, we honor our history and those important to the credit union's mission and vision. The scholarship funds may be used for tuition, supplies, and books. Any certified education or training school qualifies. Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the student's school of choice upon notification of acceptance.
Applicants must be a member (or immediate family of a member) of Community 1st Credit Union or Generations, a Division of Community 1st as of December 31st the year prior to high school graduation. The member/family must be a graduating high school senior and seeking to further their education, skills, or vocational development at any accredited educational institution. A professional in the field of academics who is also an impartial third party will judge applications in conjunction with credit union volunteers. Winners will be selected based on student essays, academic achievements, demonstration of leadership, and participation in activities.
