For STEM Career Day, Goodyear, along with The Goodyear Women’s Network are funding scholarships for students that will attend any accredited college or university program to pursue a bachelor's degree in a Goodyear STEM discipline. Numerous scholarships will be awarded to students in her/his name to the university she/he is to attend. Applicants must be Ohio high school seniors (homeschooled students are also eligible) who will be enrolled in an accredited college or university to pursue a Bachelor of Science in a Goodyear STEM or Engineering discipline. The scholarship is meant to benefit talented high school students who are pursuing a career in a Goodyear STEM discipline. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA and be US citizens.
The scholarship will be paid directly to the student’s financial aid account for their respective college institution and will be applied to any outstanding charges on the students account which may include tuition, mandatory fees, on-campus housing (room and board), and an on-campus meal plan. If there are no outstanding funds on the student’s financial aid account, the scholarship will be forfeited. Absolutely no funds will be paid directly to the student.
