The Grand Rapids Community Foundation's Donald J. DeYoung Scholarship is offered to a current or former ward of the court in Kent County pursuing an undergraduate college or vocational education. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, have at least a GPA of 2.5 and provide a letter of recommendation from a caseworker. Scholarship recipients are selected by the Grand Rapids Community Foundation (GRCF) and applicants follow the GRCF process. The number of awards each year will vary. Applications run from December until the due date.
