Indiana University Annexstad Family Foundation Award
April 15, 2023
- Scholarship Description
The Annexstad award at Indiana University is a total of $25,000 which will be distributed over a maximum of five years. $5,000 will be awarded annually in each of the first three years with the $10,000 balance being awarded in either the fourth year of study or split evenly between the fourth and fifth years of study. This scholarship is a merit and financial aid-based award. Indiana first-year students who have demonstrated great determination and have overcome adversity are selected by IU. Students interested in receiving this scholarship are encouraged to complete their FASFA by April 15. In-state and out-of-state applicants will both be considered. Leveraging government aid and institutional awards, the annual scholarship award will effectively close the “gap” in the total cost of attendance (COA).
The Annexstad Family Foundation’s motto “Bright Minds…Big Dreams” is realized in the aspirations of each and every Annexstad scholar. The great majority of Annexstad scholars are the first in their families to go to college. Their inspiring stories of triumph over hardship and the success that they experience during and after their college careers are poignant reminders that America remains a land of opportunity for those who are prepared.
