Scholarship Description

The Hudson & Holland Scholars Program (HHSP) at Indiana University is a prestigious scholarship and support initiative designed to assist high-achieving minority students who are historically underrepresented. The program is the largest merit-based scholarship and support program at Indiana University and serves nearly 2,000 students.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Academic Level: • High school seniors or current undergraduate students • Must be admitted to or plan to attend Indiana University-Bloomington

2. Academic Requirements: • Minimum high school GPA of 3.2

3. Citizenship: • U.S. citizen or permanent resident

4. Test Scores (Optional): • A combined SAT Math and Evidence-based Reading and Writing score of 1180 or higher, or • An ACT score of 24 or higher (Optional)

Additional Qualifications:

• Record of leadership • Active participation in extracurricular and service-related activities

Additional Opportunities:

HHSP scholars with certain majors may be eligible for additional funding from their degree-granting schools.

Award Renewal: The HHSP award is renewed every academic year, provided the student maintains a minimum GPA of at least 3.00.
