The Ken & Ellen McAllister Scholarship was established in 1999 in memory of Ken and Ellen McAllister, strong advocates for higher education. Ken and Ellen instilled that philosophy and love in their children and inspired each to pursue a college education. This scholarship honors and continues to keep alive Ken and Ellen’s legacy of advocacy and commitment to the value of higher education.
To be eligible for the Ken & Ellen McAllister Scholarship, applicants must: be graduating seniors from Arthur Hill or Saginaw High; have a 3.0 GPA; and, be pursuing an undergraduate degree at a Michigan college, university, Career and Techincal Education (CTE) training (skilled trade/vocation) school or apprenticeship program full-time.
