  • The Oprah Winfrey Scholarship - Morehouse College is intended for students with strong academic performance in high school and strong academic potential. Junior and senior scholarship recipients are expected to have a cumulative GPA of 3.0. Also they must have the requisite number of credit hours denoting their respective junior or senior year status and are to serve as peer tutors to freshmen and sophomore scholarship recipients. The scholarship is intended to be renewable for continuing students who maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA and complete a minimum of 15 credit hours each semester during which the scholarship is awarded. At the conclusion of the program, participants are required to submit a reflection paper that articulates the personal significance or impact of their experience(s).
