If I was to win this scholarship, I would feel so grateful. I am currently a full-time student, also working part- time and yet I still manage to be very active on my campus. This scholarship would help me to partially pay off my student loans. I absolutely do not want my mom to continue to stress or feel the need to help me with my school expenses. So, I would appreciate this opportunity with the upmost praise. Thank you!

Kari M.  on 7/6/2020 1:19:04 AM

I am an unemployed 19 year old. I am worried about trying to pay for college. It's either job or scholarship. I have low confidence in essay scholarships.

This would be a blessing to my family and I! I am going to be a senior this year at Oakmont HS in Roseville, CA. I am an IB student with a 4.06 GPA, who participates in sports and carries a job. My mom is a single mom of three kids and is a Substitute Teacher so she can be there for all of this. As you can see I am a hard worker and in a low income single family. This would really be an asset to my future. Thank you for considering me.

Ashley R  on 6/22/2020 12:14:34 PM

This scholarship would help me out with my finances so much! Being a full time student, I was not able to receive unemployment after I got laid off of my two part-time jobs. Needless to say, I am not on track with my finances like I would like to be. This scholarship would allow me to have a little breathing room with the fall semester starting in a couple of months,.

Maya. G  on 6/2/2020 6:55:04 PM

The year 2020 has completely turned the world upside down. As a senior in high school, I can not afford to grieve over the loss of prom or graduation. Instead, I now stress over the removal of many of the local scholarships my town had to extract from our senior awards due to budget problems. As my college of choice is to be performed online for the fall semester I have trouble finding a way to attend my in-person classes, as I live hours from campus.

Rhema G.  on 6/2/2020 3:02:20 PM

Thank you for giving me this opportunity. I live in Douglasville Georgia and I just lost a scholarship. But I am trying to correct that mistake and I will learn from it and do better. I am now attending Georgia State University. Every bit counts when you are attending college. Once again thank you for this opportunity.

Brittney L  on 5/30/2020 2:44:24 PM

This scholarship would mean a lot to me. My family is comfortable, but doesn't have much extra. It's kind of frustrating because my parents make enough as to where I don't receive much in loans. I feel that my parents income should not make a difference as to how much I get payed in loans, but it does. My brother started college this year and I am junior working as much as possible and going to school full time. I am not one to ask much for loans because I like to do things myself, but I want to be able to pay off my dues and finish paying my summer tuition. If I could pay off my tuition, it would make my life a lot easier being that I don't get much in loans. It would be one less stress that I would have to worry about. It would mean the world to me. I hope that this would take one less stress off of my parents as well.

KIMSUE D  on 5/30/2020 1:19:23 AM
