Texas Tech University Presidential Merit Scholarships

Texas Tech University Presidential Merit Scholarships are awarded to entering first-time freshman who show exceptional academic ability. Annual award amounts pay one-half toward fall and one-half toward spring terms. If you are a non-resident awarded a Presidential Scholarship, you will also qualify to pay in-state tuition. All merit awards are guaranteed for students admitted by June 1; admission after this date is limited only by the availability of these scholarships.
SAT and ACT scores vary, but applicants should have at least a 1000 SAT or an ACT of at least 19; applicants should also be at least in the top 40% of their class. Renewal requirements will vary, but applicants should maintain at least a 3.0 GPA and 30 hours. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
