The objective of The DYMON Scholarship is to promote scholastic excellence and provide support to individuals pursuing a higher education.
In order to be eligible, the applicant must be:
-Black girls and girls of color
-High school senior
-GPA 2.8
-Attending high school in Davidson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson Counties
-Accepted into a four year college/university, trade school, and vocational school
The Process:
1) Submit application and email essay by the deadline
2) After the application submission, the applicant will receive an email to select an interview date within 48 hrs. Note: Interviews are virtual.
3) Meet with a panel to be interviewed.
Applicant’s essay and interview scores will be combined, and the top scoring applicant will receive the Brittany Bowers Beauty and Brains Scholarship.
NOTE *** The winner will be announced at the Annual Beauty & Brains Fashion Show. Applicant must be available to accept the award.
