The UMW Arnold & Cora Benson Scholarship is awarded to a student who is a Montana resident with financial need. A minimum 2.5 GPA is required. This award is renewable for three successive years if student maintains 2.5 GPA or higher. This scholarship was established by notable alumni of the University of Montana Western. This is open to incoming freshmen. There is not a speicifed deadline, but the priority due date is February 1st.
The University of Montana Western Foundation exists to inspire generosity and connect donors with their passions in order to promote access and excellence in higher education at the University of Montana Western. With this in mind, the Montana Western Foundation cultivates donor and alumni relationships, assists students with scholarship support and assists with program and capital project support across the university.
