University of Tennessee Connect Scholarship
December 15, 2022
- Scholarship Description
The first step to apply for scholarships is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The priority deadline is February 1, although the due date to apply to the University of Tennessee is December 15. The FAFSA is required each year for UT, federal, and state awards. Apply as early as possible because some funds are limited. Your aid may be applied toward fees and will be based on the total number of credit hours on your schedule.
The Tennessee Connect Scholarship is offered to admitted, in-state first-year students with parents’ adjusted gross income (AGI) of $50,000-$70,000 who are not awarded OR/ who do not meet the qualifications for the UT Promise Scholarship. To be eligible for the Tennessee Connect Scholarship, you must submit an admissions application. No separate application is required for this award. It is granted automatically to students who meet all criteria. Eligible applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents. This is renewable upon a 2.0 GPA.
