• Transforming Lives by Creating Opportunities starts with education. The Allgire Foundation strives to ensure that people impacted by affordable housing have the resources available to better themselves through education. Application and supporting documentation must be submitted via the Allgire Foundation website only with deadlines announced per Scholarship. Deadlines are subject to change and may be adjusted based on a case-by-case basis, including needs or hardships.

  In order to be eligible, applicants must be residents of San Diego County who have been affected by affordable housing or desires to have an impact on affordable housing. In addition, applicants must: be a high school senior or older (college bound, or enrolled in a vocational/technical/certification training program, or seeking a GED or GED equivalency); be committed to helping others in their community through community service, academic clubs, sports, extra-curricular activities, or similar programs; have a 2.5 GPA; and submit both a completed application and a transcript.
