Austin College recognizes academic accomplishments, leadership, service, and talents with an array of scholarship awards. These awards are not dependent upon the establishment of financial needs. All applicants admitted to Austin College will be holistically reviewed and considered for our scholarships. Once awarded, our scholarships renew for four years as long as students continue at full-time status in good standing.
John D. Moseley Alumni Scholarships are awarded to outstanding freshman applicants who have the potential for continued success at Austin College. A limited number of awards are available each year and may amount to between $500 and $1,000 annually. To be eligible, a student must be nominated by an Austin College graduate. The Scholarship Committee will consider candidates based on the following: evidence of academic achievement; evidence of significant involvement in extracurricular activities; and the alumni recommendation.
