The Barry L. Scholarship Details
- One renewable scholarship of approximately $400 per year
- Open to students attending a Catholic school, private school, public school, or home school in the Diocese of Venice

Eligibility Criteria
- Current high school senior
- Attending a school within the Diocese of Venice (Catholic, private, public, or home school)
- First generation in their family to attend college or university
- Accepted into an accredited college or university
- Not a member or relative of Catholic Community Foundation staff, Board of Directors, Office of Catholic Schools, Scholarship Committee, or Barry L. Carey
Application Process
- Submit the Verification of Parish Affiliation form
- Write and submit an essay on the impact of your Catholic faith on your life
- Provide a description of extracurricular activities, including volunteering, work, clubs, or teams
- Complete and submit the application by the specified deadline
