Scholarship Description

The Beyond the Cure Ambassador Scholarship program remains the leader in both the dollar amount awarded and the number of recipients. Fifty-eight scholarships are awarded each academic year to help childhood cancer survivors achieve their academic and professional goals. Nearly $2.5 million has been awarded to 254 survivors since the program’s inception. Thank you to the Engelhardt Family Foundation and Centene Charitable Foundation for their continued and generous support.

Applicants must: be a childhood cancer survivor under the age of 25 and diagnosed before the age of 18 with cancer or a high grade or anaplastic brain tumor; be a citizen of the United States living within the country and attending school in the U.S.; and be accepted into a post-secondary school for the fall semester of upcoming academic year. Applicants should have at least a 2.5 GPA.
