The Camden County Hero Scholarships are presented to high school seniors who have a parent actively serving, or they themselves serve Camden County in a public safety capacity. If there are no qualified applicants in a particular field, then no award will be made. Children of personnel working in clerical or non-related public safety services are not eligible. The following scholarships are offered through the fund: Public Safety Scholarships; Chief Gary R. Cline Memorial Scholarship; Corporal Christopher Milito Memorial Scholarship, Chief Gene Dannenfelser Memorial Scholarships; and the Line of Duty Death Scholarship.
The Camden County Hero Scholarships are awarded each year to graduating high school seniors who are actively serving, or have a parent actively serving Camden County in a public safety capacity. Applications will be judged on the basis of S.A.T. scores, class standing, citizenship and family financial need. Other individual criteria may vary from scholarship to scholarship. Dollar amounts for the scholarships will also vary.
