The College Fund provides funds to supplement the Pell Grant of qualified students. Grants are $1,200 per school year ($600 per semester) until the student receives a maximum of $4,800 or graduates with a bachelor's degree, whichever comes first. Retention in the program is dependent upon a review of student grades, course load, and financial need after each semester.
To qualify for a grant from the College Fund, a student must be a U.S. citizen with permanent home address in Pinellas County and be eligible to receive a Pell grant. They must be either a high school graduate with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or a current college student with a minimum 2.0 GPA. They must also be, or planning to be, a full-time undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree at a regionally accredited college or university.
