• Scholarship Description
• The Explore More scholarship is available to new incoming freshman students, resident and nonresident, and transfer students from community colleges who are starting their first semester at the University of Utah and are interested in pursuing a degree in Mining Engineering. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on their most recent academic transcript and a strong background in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Participation in extracurricular activities is also a consideration. We strongly encourage individuals from historically underrepresented groups to apply.
