FAITH: An Endowment for Orthodoxy and Hellenism is an independent 501(c)(3) organization that supports the development of innovative educational, cultural, and scholarship programs for young people that promote an understanding of the Greek Orthodox faith, Hellenism, and the relationship of the two to America’s history and multicultural landscape. Through the support of our founding members, the endowment aims to support and continue its mission through grants, scholarship programs and other opportunities that arise to strengthen young people’s knowledge and relationship to the orthodox faith and Hellenism throughout the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America and other partner organizations.
FAITH celebrates the academic achievements of young leaders within the Greek and Hellenic American community by awarding merit-based scholarships to some of the community’s most promising graduating high school seniors from across the country. Applicants must be graduating a public, private, or parochial high school in the United States and embarking to study in an undergraduate degree program in the fall of the year the award is offered at a 4-year accredited U.S. college or university. Applicants must be of Greek Orthodox faith and member of a parish.
