The purpose of the Henry S. and Carolyn Adams Scholarship Fund is to provide undergraduate scholarships to deserving students with financial need who are residents of Union County, NC. Henry S. and Carolyn Adams Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria: Be legal residents of Union County, North Carolina; Be nominated by the principal of their high school; Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 grading scale); Demonstrate a substantial need for financial assistance.
One new scholarship in the amount of $4,000 will be awarded annually. The scholarship is renewable provided that the recipient maintains eligibility.
