Mark A Carota Scholarship

• As a testament to Mark Carota Sr.'s dedication to education and the automotive industry, Mark Carota II, his wife Jyll, and their son Mark III, have started a scholarship fund to help senior high school students realize their potential. Every year, graduating students from high school or BOCES programs in the Capital Region of New York, who are pursuing further education in the automotive field, are encouraged to apply for assistance with tuition and tools from the Mark A Carota Scholarship Fund.

  The application consists of basic personal information, the school and program to be attended the semester following graduation, and short essay questions. An interview will be required of all finalists before scholarship/s are awarded. To be eligible for the Mark A. Carota Scholarship, applicants must be majoring in the automotive field.
