I would be beyond grateful to be able to partake in this scholarship. Not only for its growth and fruition of our legislative system but for the overall experience. As a first generation, Latina, I have been very stifled with many opportunities that help my growth and independence. I have great respect for our justice system, as I plan to persue my higher education within that field, specifically criminal justice. I'd be honored to take part in this wonderful opportunity and hope I can share my creative mind and ambitions with the organization.

I would like to apply and be considered this generous scholarship, I am 16 year old and in the eleventh grade. I have good grade in many honers classes . I also play basketball and I am on the track team. I have been on the yearbook staff and have written for the high school newspaper. I am in the N.H.S . My mother is unable to work and my father has been absent from our lives from a very early age. My grandmother has provided income to help with are education, I have always believed that I will be able to help our world to be better place for future generations . I have a real need for aid in my pursuits due to my families lack of money. Student loans would be a huge burden because Im not sure my choice of career will be a high paying one in todays world. Thank you.

I strongly believe that I deserve a chance to win this scholarship because of the past personal struggles that I have gone through at a young age. I come from a family of 3 siblings and a single mother, we weren't always financially stable and we never had the luxuries that others had, and quite frankly we aren't currently financially stable to where my family is able to pay for my college expenses. So realistically scholarships are my only chance for me to achieve my dreams of becoming a college student majoring in Mechanical Engineering. It would benefit a lot if I received help financially to help me reach my education dreams. I’m in dire need of someone who can support me and invest in me because it would fuel me and motivate me to keep going with my future goals! What my future plans consist of would be going into a university/college here in Texas and getting a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in Business, I want to start looking at routes I can take into building a useful product that will help and benefit people, making their lives much better and easier! The things that will support me and motivate me to keep pushing through obstacles that I face, would be thinking about my family, using them as a source of motivation and a reminder of why I'm doing this in the first place. I'm an 18-year-old Mexican-American who going to be a first-generation to go into college. Growing up I never imagined that I would reach the point where I am now because when I was younger college really something that I was worrying about/had my attention. And that would be because I was a 10 year old having to take care of my siblings while my mother had to work two jobs just to make sure rent was paid and we had food on our plates. Through this time my biological father was sent to jail leaving my pregnant mother with 3 kids all alone to worry about housing and food. My mother couldn't afford to pay the bills because she was pregnant with my sister. We were kick

I understand this is not the area to submit my story to you for why I need this scholarship but I do want to say I am very interested in what you have to offer! Thank you !

Kevon Robinson  on 2/6/2021 6:16:52 PM

I am applying for this for the fact that it would make it much easier on my parents. I've got three siblings that are all in college and winning this scholarship would definitely put their financial situation at ease.

Iyana Peeples on 1/3/2021 9:11 pm  on 2/3/2021 8:15:30 PM

Jena K  on 1/28/2021 2:14:59 PM

I believe I am well deserving of this scholarship because it would be extremely helpful in helping me pursue a career in nursing. Especially in times like this, nurses and other front line health care workers are vital. Pursuing a career I feel passionate about is very important to me and is necessary in the work force. Being able to help others in times of need has always been my dream. I need this scholarship to chase my dreams in caring for others.

Maryann C  on 1/24/2021 7:23:21 PM

I need this scholarship because I don't have any financial support. I'm the black sheep type of person. This scholarship will help me be able to move and do my studies without the stress and worry of debt. I live with a single mom (which is my aunt) and she works every day to provide for herself and three kids. I don't just need this scholarship for me but also for my family. I don't come from money nor people who care for schooling. I think I deserve this scholarship due to my work ethic. College is something I've always dreamed of. I work day and night to keep my straight A's. My grades come before anything or anyone. In life, I want a career, not just a job. I fight for everything I have, and I always will. College is a necessity for me. I'm more of a private person so I'm not going to spill out all of my issues. However, I want this more than anything you could dream of. To be able to get out of the environment and put my abilities to the test, I promise you won't regret it. I have lost everything and that's my motivation for everything in life. I've been through enough and at the end of the day, I'm proud of myself and how far I've come. But I didn't come this far, just to get this far. I've watched enough people lose everything, I want to give people their lives back. Where I come from we call this a blessing, it's a blessing that I even have the opportunity to make a difference and fight for a better life.

Tasnima  on 1/24/2021 6:36:16 PM

I want this Scholarship because I dream big and I want to be a successful career woman in my life. But I don’t think I’m financially responsible for my course or bachelors to be done. It would really help me if I could win it.

Sydney W  on 1/20/2021 12:53:30 PM

I´m really looking for a scholarship to help me with college. I don have the money to pay for college.

Brittany fort  on 1/20/2021 11:27:27 AM

Honestly, I need this scholarship because my mother is struggling with money. She’s been raising me and my brothers by herself with no financial help for about 13 years and it is really taking a toll on her. I really don’t want her to have to take any money out for my college, seeing her struggle the way she is now is really hurting me and I know if I got this scholarship I could put the biggest smile on her face. I really would like to win this scholarship and I would be so grateful if I was selected.

Zoe J  on 1/18/2021 1:33:21 AM

Hi my name is Zoe. I would like to have this scholarship! I have a long lonely road ahead of me so maybe you could help me. In no way am I saying my family won’t try to support. I know its just is not possible this really isn’t a cry for help more like a cry for guidance.

Juana L  on 1/12/2021 9:33:49 PM

I would be grateful if I was awarded with this scholarship because my future involves having a bachelors degree in Nursing. I would be a first generation in a Hispanic household and It would really make my parents proud that one of their daughters decided to be something big in life considering they came here to the United States to be able to give us a better life. I would only dream to be able to end up having a great career that I enjoy with a passion and at the same time be able to take care of my mom and dad the way they have made sure I had everything in my middle and high school years, being so supportive.

Nea Williams  on 1/12/2021 3:19:48 PM

Hello, my name is Nea Williams and I am a senior in high school. I desperately need this scholarship, because my mother is not financially stable and I am the oldest of 6 kids. I take on a lot of responsibilities including helping take care of my siblings. My mother is a single parent who herself did not attend college. She has taught me how to strive to be the greatest, to go above and beyond, to work hard and surpass through the hardships and obstacles I may face along the journey of adulthood. I went into school with a 4.0 gpa and hopes of graduating with the same gpa. I currently take dual enrollment, AP, and honors courses. I’m also involved; I was apart of the science honors society, ROTC for four years, varsity soccer, and have done various volunteering and community services. I’ve faced many challenges in my life including bullying because of my gender and race. I have been excluded because of my clothing and lifestyle. I will never allow my challenges or difficulties define who I am. I will take this money and use it to my best advantage. I will continue to work delightedly and remain focus. I want to take the time and be gratefully for this opportunity. Thank you!

Charles H  on 1/9/2021 1:21:19 AM

This scholarship would greatly help with the college financial process because it would help with the financial problems of going to and graduating from college. My sister is getting ready to enroll in a private high school next year and I'm getting ready to go to college. It would be greatly appreciated.

Sara Pruneda  on 1/2/2021 6:10:13 PM

I am applying for this scholarship because not only do I need financial aid, I am also well-deserving of it. Growing up, I have always dreamed of growing up and using my life to make an impact on others. I am planning on attending Baylor University and pursuing an English degree and further my studies at Baylor Law School to become an attorney and work my way up into the world of politicians. Although I have big plans for myself and am determined to make my dreams come true, the issues regarding my financial situation may be the only barrier I will have to face on my own. I am the daughter of immigrants who have taught me that anything is possible if you believe in yourself. If I receive this scholarship it will take a tremendous load off of my back and help me focus on what is important which is my education. In the community where I currently live, there is a strong stigma that surrounds Hispanic women in a negative way. I want to show my community that if you work hard enough and set your goals, they can happen regardless of your ethnicity, race, or gender. This scholarship would not only help me, it would help everyone in my community regain hope in their future leaders.

Ellie M  on 12/31/2020 2:06:53 PM

This scholarship would provide me with money to be able to pursue my love for being in the business industry. I am already planning to attend a college, but I am a bit nervous on the costs! So, this scholarship would most definitely help in leading me to become the most perfect business women. I am super excited to start learning and growing at college, and would love to do so without any worries!

Nyima Tabally  on 12/28/2020 6:48:29 PM

I need this scholarship because I am very much in need of support because my parents are not financially strong. My mom is engaged in farming and my dad's health condition is in a very poor state. With all this difficulties I have to leave my parents in the village and move to the city to be able to complete my secondary School level . Even though I am going to school, I still have to sell to be able to pay for my school books and private studies . I really need this scholarship so that I will be able to go to college after my secondary School level .

Kayla G  on 12/21/2020 10:33:32 AM

I need this scholarship because my older brother has autism so i will be the first child in my family to go to college. Knowing my brother has autism, it lets me know what i want my college major to be and that is Elementary Education. And i choose that major because i want to teach and prepare young children for the real world. Growing i found out i have adhd. It was hard for me especially in highschool but i managed to push through and winning this scholarship would mean a lot to me.

Olivia M  on 12/20/2020 9:06:23 AM

This scholarship would greatly benefit me in my future collegiate academic career by giving me the chance to contemplate more in depth what I can do for my future in my career, instead of what I need to do to get out of debt from getting my degree. This scholarship would give me the opportunity to go above and beyond in the classroom and take a tremendous stress load off of my mom because she wants to help me pay for college.

Lindsay A  on 12/19/2020 11:37:59 PM

I believe I am well deserving of this scholarship because my parents are not helping me pay for my college, and I am not able to make much money because I cannot work right now since I have got 3 ankle surgeries in the past year! I am a very hard worker in and out of school, my family's income is not very low nor high, so college is in the picture but definitely not a breeze to pay for especially on my own. I plan on majoring in nursing to soon become a nurse anesthetist, and along with that, there will be many other expenses as well, so I feel this scholarship will benefit me greatly.

Kylie Misdorp  on 12/19/2020 4:31:43 AM

A dream of mine to study in America since the age of 12 when I represented my country South Africa, playing tennis visit United States. Returning home from a three week trip I started researching 120 universities not just to play tennis in America but to study as well to help me to make my dream a reality. Unfortunately with the weak Rand my parents are unable to make this dream a reality and I would also be the first in our family to go to college. I currently study online and give back my time to help teach young under privileged children to learn to play tennis which I believe is a wonderful skill to have. I would so appreciate this scholarship to help me get closer to my dream

Zada B  on 12/18/2020 9:26:11 AM

I applied for this scholarship because I've always been about my future, looking ahead. Instead of wondering if I really wanted to do something, I wonder about what next or what can I do to get better. What I want to do in life is going to be very expensive in college and I want to be in the medical field to help out others. I also would love to make my parents proud!

Dolapo A  on 12/17/2020 7:32:22 PM

I don’t necessarily need this scholarship but I do deserve this scholarship. I’m always labeled as the “try hard” scholar at school. For instance whenever my teachers would offer extra credit I would always do it, even though my grades were already very high. It was to the point that the extra credit barely counts, because they higher the grade is the lower the average points goes up. I am Nigerian so whenever there’s an opportunity I take it, just like I’m doing now by applying for this scholarship. I noticed that the applicants in this comment section are talking about how they need this scholarship but nobody is really talking about how they deserve the scholarship. But I certainly know that I deserve this scholarship probably more than any other applicant. This is not coming from a place of need it’s coming from a place of want and I’m going to strive hard to get it.

Avram P  on 12/15/2020 6:47:32 PM

I need this scholarship as my family has brought in less than $80,000 this year and I have been dreaming of attending Texas A&M University for almost a decade now. I recently got accepted to the College of Engineering at Texas A&M but because of my family's financial situation, I would be unable to attend. My grandparents came to this country from Argentina with nothing but the clothes on their back and they have been an inspiration to me as to how much the individual can accomplish. I don't plan to let them down but I need help to accomplish my goals. I plan to graduate with a Doctorate in Biomechanical Engineering and develop bleeding-edge prosthetics and orthotics technology. I have extensive education in biomedical sciences and mechanical engineering that will give me a great opportunity in this degree path at Texas A&M University. I hope that I can use my success in education to provide this tech to people in need, not just those that can pay money. I have been around the world and I have seen first-hand how much people suffer in other countries. I hope that this scholarship can help me achieve my dreams so I can help those around the world achieve theirs.

McKenzee S  on 12/13/2020 10:53:38 PM

I am applying for this scholarship to afford my education at Baylor University. I am planning on pursuing my BSN (ultimately becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner) and Baylor is not a cheap university by any means. My mother is a single parent and we are a low income family, so me obtaining this scholarship would help me so much. Not only would this scholarship help my family, but it will help me achieve my dream of helping those who need it by becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner.

john c  on 12/11/2020 2:35:12 PM

I would love this scholarship because I know it would help me in the long run! I dont have many people in my life who help me so a scholarship that helps support me would be amazing! I am already a hard worker and I know if I was able to get some type of scholarship id be able not only achieve my life long goals but over achieve

Cameron Hamler  on 12/8/2020 9:16:40 AM

I need this scholarship, as it will help me get into the film and media program for Georgia State University. I hope to improve the film industry with adding more diversity of films with adding more minority groups such as African Americans, Hispanics, Asians, and the LGTBQ+ community, and to overall help people understand the world even more with the films hope to make.

Jordan S  on 12/7/2020 10:54:13 PM

I am applying for this scholarship because I am not able to finance my education. My mother and I have been homeless and have bounced from home to hotels because we just have had a hard time keeping a place. I would like to get a good education in a good major so that I won't have to struggle and possibly help her when I get a good career. I have been accepted to numerous schools but the top two that I'd like to go to are PVAMU or TSU. I would like to get my major in psychology and eventually become a psychiatrist. Getting this scholarship will help me beyond words.

Juan Andrés baquero  on 12/7/2020 10:52:26 AM

I am currently a student and plan to pursue medical studies. Unfortunately my modest personal income as well as those of my family do not allow me to face the various costs (schooling, accommodation, etc.) that this training course requires. This unfortunately deprives me of ideal working conditions and undermines my chances of success. It is for this reason that I wish to submit my scholarship application to you. Thanks to this help, I could concentrate entirely on my studies with complete peace of mind. thank you for your attention

trinity s  on 11/25/2020 9:04:28 PM

i am applying for this scholoarship because both of my parents do not believe i have what it takes to get through college. they always tell me to follow my dreams and to believe that i can do anything i put my mind too. yet at the same time they always put me down and say they will not help me get over my obstacles because i have to face them on my own. all my life i have had rocky relationships with the adults i my life. the adults my biological parents have been with since i was a little girl. and its not just them, i have type 1 diabetes that i am so concerned about to deal with on my own out in the world once i start college. i know i can get through it and i have my corgi, koda, who will be attending colorado mesa university with me as i start journey to become americas top female welder in the nation and to take on my diabetes all on my own. this is why i believe i should have this scholoarship. not just to help me through school but to prove to the adults in my life, my parents, that i can do things on my own without them criticizing me yet feel as if they are doing what is best.

Maegan M  on 11/23/2020 11:19:41 AM

I will be applying for this scholarship because college is expensive and the profession I am going into is going to take awhile to achieve. I want and believe I was made to help people, I am working to become a mental health counselor to help people. This scholarship would help me go a long ways to making my dream come true to help people on a more professional level.

Jada-Rose Simmons  on 11/22/2020 7:04:37 PM

My parents don’t have enough money and I want to become a nurse to support them but I won’t be able to if I can’t pay for college that’s why I need to start early. I’m working hard to try to win a scholarship. I won’t give up so easily, so even if you won’t give me scholarship I won’t give up. I’ll work even harder no matter what I will reach my goal of becoming a Registered Nurse and come out of college debt free. That is why I’m starting early and applying to as many as I can.

Daphne HC  on 11/18/2020 4:56:43 PM

I am applying for this scholarship because I need it for the Fall of 2022. My family and I have gone through a lot but they've always supported me with a little bit of money we had. This scholarship would help me pay for college so they don't have to and with that, I want to repay them for everything that I achieve in college. When I get into the college that I choose, I would like to major in Forensic Photography and with that get some money and even buy my parents a nice home and even have a nice home myself with kids and a family.

Sidney J.  on 11/18/2020 4:30:45 PM

I deserve this scholarship because I’ve put my blood sweat and tears into my schooling for the past 5 years. Even when I was little, all I wanted was to make my parents proud of me. I believe this scholarship will help my foot into the door of college so I can make a difference and change in this world. I want to major in criminal justice or law I have such a passion for law because of the racial injustices that go on in the court systems and this world today. Also I find it very intriguing learning about different laws and amendments. I really do enjoy working with people I am very outgoing and determined. Lastly, I deserve this scholarship because I stand out from the rest of the people in these comments. I am committed and I know if I get this scholarship you will see me prosper and change lives. I hope that you choose me and thank you for taking time out your day!

Sanyah S.  on 11/17/2020 9:10:34 AM

I want this scholarship so I can get finical help in my college journey. Even though I just started my highschool journey I would like to start looking for colleges so I can hopefully graduate my junior year. My uncle has been saving up money for my college funds but I am not sure if it will be enough to get me into my dream school if I don´t get a sports-related scholarship.

I am applying for this scholarship because I come from a low-income family and potentially can be the first person in my family to attend college. Carly M  on 10/25/2020 11:53:32 AM

I really need this scholarship because I am currently $20,000 in debt, not including my student loans that I will also soon have to pay off. My family has been heavily hit financially by COVID 19 and they are struggling to get by themselves so they are not able to help. I am asking for this scholarship because I am desperate for some help, any amount will make a difference for me. I feel that I am in deep financial trouble and I am afraid that I will not be able to get out of it in enough time. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

madison l  on 10/23/2020 11:24:14 AM

I need this scholarship, because college is so important to my goals for my own future. When I search scholarships I can never find any that apply to me, because I don't technically apply under the low income so I don't receive help for that. Although my parents make enough to support my family doesn't mean they make enough to send their three children to college. So this scholarship would mean a lot to me considering that I'm not highly considered for other scholarships, because my family is expected to be able to send me to school.

I believe I deserve this scholarship opportunity because I am an innovative problem solver. Over the last two years as student council president, I helped re-organize my entire school library to better accommodate today’s students’ needs. I worked with the library staff to categorize books in a way that reflects current school subjects. I will use the same leadership mindset to obtain my business degree with a focus in project management.

I fell in love with nursing after my mom had my brother and he was in the neonic intensive care unit. I told myself that moment that is what I wanted to do. My brother was born early due to the fact that my mom was on drugs really bad while she was pregnant with him. That made me feel pretty bad and I have always taken care of him along with my daddy. Because,of the complications of the drugs she was on it has cause my brother a lot of different medical problems. Me and my dad have been to the emergency room quite often. By me getting a nursing degree I think I could help change other little girls life like mines.

Julia O  on 8/22/2020 4:09:38 PM

I have been applying to scholarships in order to be able to afford undergraduate school as well as dentistry school. I am only a sophomore as of now, but i am trying to do my part for my parents. If i get enough scholarships we will not have to go to court to decide which parent will pay, and that is my goal. I have high expectations for myself, and I hope a can pursue my future career with no troubles on cost.

Kathryn F.  on 8/21/2020 9:01:55 PM

Through my career as a high school student, I have come across many different challenges and opportunities that have transformed who I am as a person. One particular experience that drastically changed my life was when my parents got a divorce. This time was monumental in my life because not only did it affect my family life, but also my friendships and the way I participated in school. I began to notice the people who supported me, as well as those who did not, through this time; and I strengthened many valuable relationships. Also, for the first two years of high school I was so consumed by how much my life was changing outside of school, that I didn't really take the initiative to become as involved as I could have been. I mostly tried to remain with what felt comfortable. However, my junior year, I began to branch out a little more and take classes I previously thought I would not take, participate in different organizations within my school, and volunteer a lot more. Not only did this decision help me to step more beyond my level of comfort, but also I know have a better understanding of who I am and where I am going. I finally overcame what I thought, at the time, was a huge obstacle that would forever ruin my life or make me less capable. Looking back, I now know that this trial was only a lesson that helped me, shaping me into the person I am becoming, and strengthening relationships that bring meaning and impact to my life. I would never go back and undo anything because my life truly shaped me for the better, and it, no doubt, has been a humbling experience for me as well as my family. I would be beyond grateful to receive this scholarship in order to advance my career as an architecture major because I would struggle without it. Pursuing this dream is extremely important for me and I know that neither of my parents would be willing to help as they put my tuition on my at the very last minute. So, here I am scrutinizing at trying to gather the funds to ach

Kelsey C  on 8/21/2020 11:24:16 AM

I would love to get this scholarship because I plan to become a travel nurse and it takes a lot of money to get there. I am very passionate about my future and have dreamed of this since I was little. I don't live with either of my parents due to drugs. But I believe this scholarship could easily change my world!

Avenea. S  on 8/20/2020 3:37:35 PM

I am currently a freshmen at Delta High School. For me to achieve the goal of becoming an M.D, a scholarship would be very helpful way of paying for expenses. Financially it would be very difficult for me to go to college and medical school, still possible but difficult. A scholarship of that size would help me greatly.

Shelby P.  on 8/19/2020 6:05:02 PM

Irene Bowser  on 5/19/2020 2:49:47 PM

I wish to pursue a career in business and marketing, hoping to move somewhere in the future more beneficial for success. The struggle to get financial aid and help from state colleges is tough for me. I have worked hard as a scholar student, and discovered my interest and ability to persuade, present, and argue. I hope to eventually work hard enough to provide a comfortable lifestyle for my family and myself. With scholarship money, I would be able to go to a school which provides opportunities for me I just won't find at home. With my knowledge of credit, money, and finance, I know going into debt for a school is a rough decision with student loans very hard to pay off. My parents taught me to find other ways and work for smarter, efficient forms of money to pay for school. Thank you for reading why I want to apply for this scholarship.

Brittnibelle W.  on 5/18/2020 4:18:47 PM

I want to work in juvenile correction centers and help redirect our upcoming youth and adolescents to re-shift their lives for the better.

Phillip B  on 5/13/2020 10:33:18 AM

Sometimes you need a boost in the right direction. College as it is very expensive and difficult. This scholarship would help so much knowing that after undergraduate school I won’t be paying the next few years of my salary towards it. With this scholarship, I would agree to finish what I started. Thank you.

I wish to apply to this scholarship because I am stuck at home, quarantined, and I might as well do something useful. I have a dream of being one of the first to attend college but, it’s somewhat difficult when you’re living in a poor city with a lack of opportunities. I see this as an opportunity and I’m taking it in the hopes of pursuing a career in math.

Omer B  on 4/23/2020 11:25:29 PM

I want to apply for this scholarship because I love studying, it sounds weird I know but that it my passion. I always wanted to major in math because I love math. I moved from a different country right into high school, I learned English in 2 years and math was the thing that made me happy because I did not need a perfect English to succeed. I would love to get this scholarship to inspire people with similar stories to mine. Thank you so much for this opportunity!

Stephie S  on 4/19/2020 7:43:41 PM

I want to apply for this scholarship, because I don't want to trouble my parents after I graduate. They have done so much for by putting me in private schools, spelling bees and always telling me that I can achieve anything I want, if put in the hard work and dedication. So I am going to try my hardest to keep up my GPA and my extracurriculars. I want to make a name for myself that my parents will be proud of. I want to end up somewhere in life where my parents don't have to work and worry about anything. I do this for them and myself.

De'Ajah B.  on 4/12/2020 6:26:29 PM

I want to apply for this scholarship because I want to attend medical school and become a Pediatrician but also pursue undergrad in nursing or premed. I am not able to afford undergraduate school and medical without this and more scholarships. I've applied to many other scholarships to help me financially through college. Because honestly I've been through trauma and courts and my mom's a single mom with 2 kids (my brother and I) and always on a budget working full time and only able to carry one child and not two on her taxes. I'm just want to make my mom proud and show her that we can truly make it through the struggle and once I start moving forward after high school and start pursuing my career I can try and help her get out of the situation we are currently in.

Diamond S  on 4/3/2020 3:41:24 PM

I am applying for this scholarship because I recently got accepted to a lot of good colleges but tuition per year is super expensive. My mom is a single mom who hasn’t been able to work for years due to her disability. Tuition for 2 of the colleges that I am accepted to are about $70,000 a year. My financial aid package that I was awarded only covers about $30,000 leaving us the option of taking out a $40,000 loan for the next four years. We would never be able to pay that back. I’ve worked so hard of the course of high school so that I could go to college and make my mother proud. We’ve been through so much over my 17 almost 18 years of living and going to college would be the biggest thanks that I could give her.

Kelby Goldschmeding  on 3/29/2020 3:26:24 PM

I've applied to scholarships and trying to find the time for it cause I've been through trauma and courts and my mom's a single mom and always on a budget and me working part time. Because financially we wont be able to make it by myself. And my dad and mom are getting divorced my senior year and my dad gets out of prison this year in August but he wont be apart of our lives anymore. And i'm just trying to make my mom proud that I can make it to college cause if I don't get this scholarship I wont be able to go to college to pursue my career.

I applied to the scholarship, because I wish to take a career in music (either teaching, therapy, or just performing) and I feel in order to become the best at my craft, I need to go to college. I usually wouldn't ask anyone to pay for something, but sadly I had parents divorced, my mother unemployed, and a car accident not too long ago. I am okay with whatever result I get, I just need the help.
