There will be 2 Undergraduate Scholarships awarded. Both of these will be valued at $1,000 each. These Scholarships are based on Financial Need and Academic Merit. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen who will be an incoming or current undergraduate student at an accredited 4-year college for the school year the scholarship is awarded. Applicant must have a Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or above (submit a certified copy of the most recent academic comprehensive transcript). Applicant must show financial hardship (please provide a printed copy of a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current school year to determine a financial need).
Applicant must be a child of a Single Mother. Mother can be divorced, widowed, or unwed (provide a copy of the mother's Federal Income Tax Return). Applicant must demonstrate an income equal to or less than $45,000 annually (provide a Tax Return demonstrating this income) and must compose and submit a 500-word essay stating their academic and career goals and how these goals will make a positive contribution to the community.
Failure to meet all of these requirements will result in an incomplete packet that will not be considered. After the selection is made, all application contents will be wiped and deleted from the computer. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider's website.
