AAUW Aurora Colorado Branch provides scholarships to students who have a permanent mailing address in Aurora, Colorado, and are currently enrolled or plan to enroll at an accredited Colorado college or university. The scholarship will be applied to the recipient’s tuition and/or fees for the upcoming academic year. The student must be at least a sophomore or junior in college for the scholarship to take effect in the junior or senior year. The student must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits and have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. Financial need may be taken into consideration.
Please mail in one large envelope to the assigned contact and address: a completed application; a personal essay (two-pages maximum); three letters of recommendation (two from your college academic program and one additional reference from an employer or your volunteer organization); an unofficial transcript; and a chronological list of colleges/universities you attended. Applications are available from the financial aid office at your college or university.
