Scholarship Details
- $20,000 scholarship for a first-year health science student
- One recipient will be selected based on the quality of their essay submission
- Winner must accept the award within two weeks of notification
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a first-year, full-time student at an accredited college or university
- Must be pursuing a degree in health science with an interest in providing care to patients with physical disabilities
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5
Application Guidelines
- Submit a 1,000-word essay describing any experience working with patients with physical disabilities or explaining why pursuing a career in this field is appealing
- Essay should be submitted in the form provided in the application and must not exceed 1,000 words
Application Process
- Complete the application form in its entirety, including the 1,000-word essay
- Submit the application by the deadline of December 15th
Winner Selection
- One candidate with the best essay submission will be selected
- Winner will be notified by email and must accept the award within two weeks
- The scholarship committee may request additional documentation to verify eligibility
