We are offering a $1,000 scholarship to graduating African American High School Seniors who will be attending College/University or Trade School full-time in the Fall.
Scholarship Details
- Open to African American high school seniors graduating in the current academic year
- Supports full-time enrollment at a college, university, or trade school
- Award amount and number of recipients may vary annually
- Funds disbursed after proof of full-time enrollment is submitted
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be African American
- Must be a graduating high school senior
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Must demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities or community service
- Must plan to attend a college/university or trade school full time in the fall
Application Process
- Complete and submit the official scholarship application form
- Submit two letters of recommendation:
- One from a school official (teacher, counselor, or administrator)
- One from a representative of a community organization
- Submit an official transcript that includes first-semester senior year grades
- Write and submit an essay of at least 500 words on the assigned topic
- If selected, provide proof of full-time enrollment to receive scholarship funds
The winner will receive their scholarship in the Fall after submitting proof of full-time enrollment in a College/University or Trade School.
